Client Specific Process Equipment

Pressure Vessels

Resulta’s pressure vessels are designed to contain liquids or gases at a pressure that is significantly different from the ambient pressure. For a tank to be classified as a pressure vessel it needs to undergo an internationally recognised pressure test. Each pressure vessel needs to be equipped with a suitably calibrated pressure relief valve.

Threshers

Our state-of-the-art threshers are typically used in the palm oil and fruit sector to remove fruit from Full Fruit Bunches. The fruits are separated from the bunches and fall between the slats, which are welded around the circumference of the thresher. The remaining Empty Fruit Bunches are ejected at the end and discarded.

Cake Breakers

A cake breaker is a conveyor system designed to separate compacted produce. This is done through a rotating axle with a series of blunt blades which break apart the compacted produce. This process is necessary to be done to loosen the produce in order for it to be processed more efficiently and effectively throughout the production.

Cyclones

Cyclonic separation is a type of process engineering equipment that removes particulates from air, gas or liquids through vortex separation (no filters). We supply hydro-cyclones and gas cyclones. Separating mixtures of solids and fluids requires rotational effects and gravity. The latter method is also used to separate droplets from a gaseous stream.

Sterilisers

Resulta supplies a range of quality sterilisers and sterilising engineering equipment. Whilst we can source all types of machinery, we mainly supply horizontal autoclaves for the African palm oil sector. These particular machines are designed as such that they can accommodate up to 7 wagons containing 2.5 tonnes of Full Fruit Bunches.

Steam Blow-Down Chimneys

Many of our clients are operational in Africa’s ethical and sustainable palm oil sector. Our state-of-the-art steam blow-down chimneys (like Resulta’s other process engineering equipment) are used as a part of the steam exhaust system for the sterilizers in various palm oil mills across the African continent.
